Among the roles community partners can play are spreading the word about the importance of FAFSA completion and providing hands-on assistance to students and families complete the form. During this second Institute webinar, hear how communities have worked collaboratively to build and leverage the capacity of partners in FAFSA completion.

The topics we will explore during this webinar include:

• Tools that are available to build the capacity of partners to assist students and families complete the form. You don’t need to re-create the wheel!
• Creating a community-wide college-going culture and dispelling myths – about the importance of a postsecondary degree, college affordability, student financial aid, etc.
• What strategies will increase the likelihood that FAFSA completion messages will resonate with the intended audience? What are the messages, who is crafting them, who is delivering them, and through what vehicles?
• Producing effective FAFSA completion campaigns and events.
