Keith Mataya is an accomplished nonprofit executive with over fifteen years of experience, currently serving as the VP of Impact for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire. He is pivotal in developing programs that enhance college and career success for youth, particularly focusing on first-generation college students and integrating mental health support. Keith has a robust track record of crafting and leading educational initiatives, partnering with the ECMC Foundation and the College Futures Foundation to expand mentoring programs tailored for personalized student success. In his previous roles at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and Teach Democracy, Keith not only secured support but also designed programs in collaboration with organizations like the Gates Foundation and the Library of Congress, providing targeted educational training and support. Holding a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University, Keith is deeply committed to building and leading programs that make a significant impact on the lives of young people, setting them on paths to success through innovative educational strategies and strong mentorship connections.
