Growing Inland Achievement (GIA) recently hosted ANT Activate 2026, a retreat designed to launch the next phase of cross-sector collaboration across the Inland Empire’s cradle-to-career continuum.
Action Network Teams (ANTs)—composed of education, workforce, and community partners—gathered to align strategies, share insights, and coordinate collective action to improve educational and economic outcomes in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
As part of its updated strategic plan, GIA has restructured the ANTs to focus more intentionally on key milestones along the cradle-to-career continuum. The three teams—K-12 Success, Postsecondary Success, and Education and Career Success—will focus on early literacy through postsecondary enrollment, completion, and workforce transitions. This alignment ensures each team is positioned to effectively drive measurable progress where it matters most.
ANT Activate 2026 marked the launch of this renewed structure. Participants refined the purpose, scope, and goals of each ANT, emphasizing shared ownership, data-informed decision-making, and a clear link between strategy and action.
- During the retreat, participants:
- Identified shared priorities for the year ahead
- Examined barriers across the educational pathway
- Highlighted key resources and partnerships needed to drive progress
- Reaffirmed a collective focus on equity and measurable outcomes
The event reinforced GIA’s commitment to collective impact, positioning Action Network Teams as the core driver of systems change across the Inland Empire.
GIA is now synthesizing insights from the retreat to inform future ANT activities and strengthen cross-team coordination. The next round of meetings will begin this spring, building on the momentum sparked at the retreat.
