Navigating the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the E-Commerce and Supply Chain industries in Southern California have been crucial in ensuring the delivery of essential items and products all across the United States.

During session one, we will be hearing from the following industry leaders who are providing innovative solutions to mitigate the COVID-19 threat on the supply chain:

– Keynote Speaker –

Eugene D. Seroka, Executive Director, The Port of Los Angeles

Gene Seroka is the Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles, the busiest container port in North America. Nominated by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on May 27, 2014 and confirmed by the Los Angeles City Council on June 11, 2014, the Port of Los Angeles has experienced historic, record-breaking performances since his appointment.

At the outset of the COVID-19 global health crisis, Seroka led the Port of Los Angeles’ response to the pandemic, keeping cargo flowing as an essential service to the nation. In March 2020, he was named by Mayor Garcetti as Chief Logistics Officer for the City of Los Angeles. While maintaining his duties as the Port’s Executive Director, Seroka leads the Logistics Victory Los Angeles (LovLA) effort and has assembled an 20-member team to assist in getting critical health care and emergency supplies into the hands of those who need them most.

Fran Inman , Senior Vice President, Majestic Realty Co.

Fran Inman is the Senior Vice President of Majestic Realty Co. and founding President of the Majestic Realty Foundation.

Recognized as a national leader in the transportation sector for her work on the global supply chain, she serves as a member of the California Transportation Commission. Inman also serves on the highly acclaimed National Freight Advisory Committee that reports directly to the US Secretary of Transportation and on the California Freight Efficiency Task Force. In addition to her numerous awards and honors for her work in these areas, Fran was recently awarded Visionary Business Leader of the Year at the region’s Mobility 21 summit.
