Leadership Outlook: The Academic Workforce
The Covid-19 crisis has profoundly changed the way we work. How can college leaders continue to adapt and begin to plan for an academic workforce unlike any before? What new roles, responsibilities, and skills will be required in these uncertain times?

In this virtual forum attendees will take an in-depth look at the changing future of the academic workforce and the challenges facing colleges and universities.

Speakers will discuss:

  • How will colleges adjust faculty ranks for online education?
  • How can researchers continue their work when laboratories are closed?
  • What new administrative roles might be required to adapt to new public health and space considerations?
  • And what effect will any of this have on the new generation of Ph.D. students?
