Dr. Sorrel Stielstra
Director of Research and Evaluation
As Director of Research and Evaluation, Sorrel Stielstra leads GIA’s efforts to generate data-informed strategy and measure progress across the cradle-to-career pipeline. Her work bridges research, policy, and practice to support continuous improvement and systems transformation.
Sorrel holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Psychology from Reed College. Outside of work, she tends to her garden and chickens, and enjoys quiet moments at the UCR Botanic Gardens.
