If you said banks\, you are correct. \nLaws and financial regulations to combat money laundering and terrorist financing\, have proliferated around the world.\nThis means that the financial sector of every major country\nis not only engaged with banking regulators but with\nintelligence agencies\, and foreign policies of countries\nin which they operate. How does it all work and why haven’t\ngovernments been successful in stopping money from going\nto criminals and terrorists? \nIan Oxnevad has spent almost a decade exploring the financing of global\nterrorism. His book\, Making a Killing: States\, Banks and Terrorist Financing\,\nMcGill-Queens University Press will be available soon.\nDr. Oxnevad has a Ph.D. in Political Science/International Relations from\nUniversity of California Riverside and an MA in National Security Studies\,\nDual Emphasis: Middle East Security\, Terrorism from California\nState University\, San Bernardino.
