DESCRIPTION:SBCROP cordially invites all San Bernardino County CTE educators to participate in a series of distance learning trainings presented by the SBCSS Digital Learning Services team. The first session\, “Online Lesson Design for CTE Teachers” will cover the National Standards for Quality Online Teaching and online lesson design using HyperDocs. \nTraining on the National Standards for Quality Online Learning will cover important information regarding best practices for online teaching and learning. CTE educators will learn about the standards and will work with concrete examples of effective online instructional strategies. Opportunities for interaction and application using online communication and collaboration strategies will provide a more in-depth learning experience. \nHyperDocs training will support student learning experiences through the use of the learning cycle. Participants will discuss best practices and instructional strategies that address important lesson design considerations as they relate to CTE content. Participants will have an opportunity to begin creating their first HyperDoc and receive resources that will support the development of online CTE lessons\, including a list of reputable Web 2.0 platforms.
