SUMMARY:Graduation Initiative 2025 Convening
DESCRIPTION:As an integral part of the CSU’s Graduation Initiative 2025\, the annual Graduation Initiative 2025 Symposium has always provided a communal space for the CSU to discuss strategic\, system-wide student success work\, share the most recent data on graduation rates and equity goals\, and celebrate successes as the largest and most diverse university system in the nation. The Symposium has also been an opportunity to highlight faculty and staff best-practices\, as well as feature the voices of faculty\, staff\, students\, administrators\, and alumni that make up the amazing CSU community. \nThe theme\, The Time is Now\, encourages us to reflect on the current challenges the university is facing on the campuses and in higher education across the US and to use this time of transition and metamorphosis to take data-informed action and ensure that the students\, especially historically underrepresented students\, do not fall through the cracks.

DESCRIPTION:In support of Fall 2020 college and financial aid application season\, the Northern California College Promise Coalition has partnered with the California State University (CSU) Chancellor’s Office to present updates\, announcements\, and the vision for the CSU statewide. This special event is co-sponsored by Moneythink and the Southern California College Access Network. \nPresenter \nApril Grommo currently serves as the Systemwide Director of Enrollment Management Services at the California State University (CSU) Office of the Chancellor. She is responsible for systemwide admissions and enrollment management policies and practices\, outreach and recruitment\, transfer programs\, and registration and records. \nEvent Hosts \n\nNorthern California College Promise Coalition. The Northern California College Promise Coalition is a regional effort to bring together leaders\, practitioners and resources and share leadership over the shape of college success efforts in the region.\nMoneythink. Moneythink harnesses the power of people and technology to bring transparency to college costs so that all students are equipped to invest in their futures.\nSouthern California College Access Network. Our mission is to increase the rate at which students from underserved communities access and complete post-secondary education.
